Ken Corn

Director of Outreach and Impact, UWC Atlantic College

Originally from New York, Ken has now lived in Britain for more than half of his life and is both a US and UK citizen. Ken has held a number of roles at UWC Atlantic College including: Houseparent, Head of Department, Head of Service, Academic Studies Coordinator, Academic Staff Coordinator, and currently, Director of Outreach and Impact. In his present role, and as a member of the College’s Senior Leadership Team, Ken develops and facilitates Atlantic College’s partnerships with outside organisations, institutions, NGOs, etc., amongst other aspects of his broad remit. Ken’s “day job” here is as teacher of IB English. He also coordinates the College’s School Supported Self-Taught Languages programme. Ken is married to Maria, who works in college’s Health Centre. They have two children, Ariane and Adam, now college alumni, who both live and work in Bristol, England, where they are currently cultivating diverse social enterprises.
